We had a Yankee swap. For those of you who don't know what a Yankee swap is, it's a game where everyone brings a gift and puts it in a pile with the other gifts. People pull a number out of a hat, and that's the order in which they get to pull a gift out of the pile. The catch is, you get to swap gifts with any person who's chosen before you--so 2 can trade with 1, 3 can trade with 2 or 1, etc. At the end, #1 gets to swap with anyone.
The gifts ranged from a pair of scissors (wrapped with so much tape it was ridiculous) to a copy of Windows Vista Business Edition. As my gift, I made a CD with random songs that were funny, silly, or just plain weird. I ended up with a stuffed snowman. :-)
There was also a CD labeled "W & N". We listened to it to find out what the heck it was--it ended up being a copy of "White and Nerdy" by "Weird Al" Yankovic. (If any of you could send me a copy of that, I'd be your friend forever. *grin*)
Anyway. Yes. Lots of fun was had by all. I didn't take any pictures (I forgot my camera), but a couple of my friends should be posting some on Facebook, so I'll grab them once they're up.
