That's right--I had to create a CD with music that inspires me to write. *snicker* I really did look for "You Oughta Know", Mae, but I just couldn't find someone with that CD. I would've loved the look on her face when I explained exactly why I chose that song. *evil grin*
Had rehearsal for chorale yesterday. We're doing pretty well. The church where we're performing has great acoustics--unlike the assembly hall here, which sucks. We're performing Britten's Ceremony of Carols, and it's really fun. But we keep messing up during a few tricksy parts. I'm not going to get all technical on you, 'cause you probably don't care. :-)
Yeesh. I'm so tired I don't even want to write. I have three--no, excuse me, four--things that I'm working on right now, and all of them are stalled. It's kinda funny, in a way--I want to include a smut scene in "Confused Memories", but instead I'm writing a PWP scene completely unrelated to that fic. I'm also trying to get going on "'Tis the Season" (the Christmas fic I abandoned last year), but I've still got a block on that one. Maybe I'll see if someone wants to take what I have so far and run with it, 'cause it's certainly not working for me.
For anyone who likes to read my recaps of NCIS--this week's may have to wait until after the holidays. I may or may not get to watch it this Tuesday. If I do, I'll write a recap without quotes, then post the quotes after I get back. If not... well, I'll just watch the episode the Monday after the holiday and post then.
Yep--I'm a-goin' home for Thanksgiving. I could skip class on Tuesday and catch the noon train into Providence, but I've already missed one class for Shakespeare. I've already read Hamlet, so it won't be anything new, but the professor's handing out essay topics for the final, so I really need to be there. *snort* That's probably why he waited until now to give them to us--so that we couldn't just skip the class.
Well, I suppose I'll head to bed now. There's nothing else for me to do. That is pretty damn sad.
