Back from the appointment

I have never been so relieved to be able to pee in my life. Gyah. (How's that for TMI? I'm sure I could do worse.) I thought it was bad enough pacing the hallway with a full bladder. Then the lady had to start pushing on it. (Yes, I know this is how an ultrasound is performed. That doesn't mean I have to like it.)

Thank you to the people who answered my question in my last post. I thought that was it, but I wasn't entirely sure. (Also, I really wanna see Tigh and Kara fight. How can I get my grubby paws on the miniseries?)

I'm making a Starbuck vid. It'll take a while to gather the clips, but I think it'll turn out okay.

Oh, I also had blood taken for the blood tests my doctor wanted. Unfortunately, I ate beforehand, so the cholesterol test won't come out too well. (Particularly since what I ate was a grilled cheese sandwich.)

There was something else I wanted to ask--oh! That's right. I should have money left over from my scholarships and student loans this semester (thank you, DCYF guy, for finally coming through with that), so I want to buy a laptop. (The money can be spent on anything toward my education. A laptop will help quite a bit.) So, any suggestions toward what to look for would be great.

Oh man I hated getting a pelvic ultrasound just for that reason! I thought my bladder was going to explode before they were done, and then not only one person pushed on it, two people did! I'm telling you I've never rushed to a bathroom so quick in my life when it was over!
