Taken from j_guda.

1. Put your playlist on shuffle.
2. Post the first lines to the first 25 songs to come up (along with these instructions).
3. Have people guess the songs and artists in comments to the post.
4. Post the answers to the ones people guessed correctly. A couple of days later, post the first two lines of the ones no one got and get people to guess again.
5. Repeat, adding the next line to the unguessed songs each time, until they're all guessed/you've posted the whole song/you've gotten bored/no-one's going to get the damn thing if you don't tell them.

You certainly like your music, don't you? *grin* I have the Moby version of We Are Made of Stars, and the Norah Jones song is Seven Years, but other than that, they're all right.

But I think I'm going to cut you off now. ;-)

You certainly like your music, don't you?

I do. I'm such a music whore. :)

But I think I'm going to cut you off now.

I'd of cut me off ages ago. ;)

Jun. 23rd, 2005 04:05 am (UTC)
I hope you don't mind me crashing in. I'm reading friends of friends list. I believe #24 is King of Pain by the Police.
Jun. 23rd, 2005 04:12 am (UTC)
Don't mind at all, and you're correct. :-)
Jun. 23rd, 2005 04:15 am (UTC)
20. Mac the Knife by Michael Bublé, and whoever did the first version (Frank Sinatra)?

Jun. 23rd, 2005 11:13 am (UTC)
# 13 is 'Goodbye to You' by Michelle Branch, and #21 is 'Breathe' by Anna Nalick.

And #1 is kicking my ass, because I can *hear* the song in my head, but do you think I can remember the title, or the band? Of course not.
Jun. 23rd, 2005 04:59 pm (UTC)
Yes, and yes. And if you listen to the song in your head long enough, you should be able to come up with the title, at least. ;-)
Jun. 23rd, 2005 08:18 pm (UTC)
Ooh! I got it! It's 'At the Stars' by Better than Ezra!

Finally; I've had that line in my head all afternoon. I had to come home and hunt down the cd I knew I had the song on.

21. Two a.m. and she calls me 'cause I'm still awake

Can you help me unravel my latest mistake I don't love him...

I adore this song. Breathe by Anna Nalick. I think I got it from Aj, or off of fandommix, but it doesn't matter because I've been listening to it non-stop and trying to decide whether or not it's my a) new favorite song b) it belongs in the Cannon Soundtrack or c) both.

*runs to listen*

Also, you'd like Collide by Rachel Yamagata and Home by Marc Broussard.
Jun. 23rd, 2005 05:03 pm (UTC)
It is so beautiful, isn't it?

I've heard of Rachel Yamagata, but I've never heard any of her music. Don't know who Marc Broussard is, though.
