Attila's cupcakes are sublime...

We had a bunch of really ripe bananas--I mean, so ripe no one would actually eat them--so I'm making chocolate banana bread! It's in the oven right now, but I'll let you know how it comes out.

(And if it's bad, it's most likely my fault, not the recipe; I haven't baked anything without one of those boxed mixes in forever.)

The final verdict: banana flavor a bit muted, and could've stayed in the oven a bit longer (since I just dumped the remaining chocolate chips into the batter; it was probably about half a cup more than the recipe called for), but still pretty good.

_workinprogress, it may seem like too much sugar, but I didn't think so.

Dear Amazon:

You know, considering that the item I ordered was, in fact, in stock, it's taking an incredibly long time to get here. And since I'm going to a friend's house tomorrow, I'd really like for it to be delivered before I leave.

Apparently, I don't get to watch Burn Notice tonight because my family has decided to watch some stupid Hallmark Channel movie. *grumbles*
