Squirrel monkey with duck!

Mmm... bananas.

We had a bunch of really ripe bananas--I mean, so ripe no one would actually eat them--so I'm making chocolate banana bread! It's in the oven right now, but I'll let you know how it comes out.

(And if it's bad, it's most likely my fault, not the recipe; I haven't baked anything without one of those boxed mixes in forever.)

Banana bread,

The final verdict: banana flavor a bit muted, and could've stayed in the oven a bit longer (since I just dumped the remaining chocolate chips into the batter; it was probably about half a cup more than the recipe called for), but still pretty good.

_workinprogress, it may seem like too much sugar, but I didn't think so.
