Let's play a game. The game is called, "Guess the first thing Shannon decided not to procrastinate on for the entire semester". (Yes, the title of the game is long and unwieldy.)

Give up? The answer is "her spring 2006 class schedule"! That's right, folks, I've already planned out my classes through the end of the school year. And if all goes well (read: if I don't fail Data Structures and Computer Organization and Architecture miserably), I shall be finished with the classes for my major and my modes of inquiry (classes required for graduation) by the end of the year.

How awesome is that?

Of course, I still have the independent study/internship to complete, but that's okay. Any classes taken from that point on will be entirely for my enjoyment. Yay!

Stolen from apocalypsos.

Chances are people you don't even know are being introduced to your journal every day, either randomly or through someone else. In addition to recent entries, people can get to know you better by what you posted in the past.

With that in mind, post a link to your entries on this day six months ago, nine months ago, a year ago, and two years ago.

Six months ago (April 20, 2005), I was complaining about the heat, starting a term paper over, and lawmakers in Texas being stupid. Oh, and I called a boy for a date.

Nine months ago (January 20, 2005), I was complaining about my roommate and her boyfriend fucking like rabid weasels, and describing my new professors.

One year ago (October 20, 2004), I was flipping out over the Red Sox winning the sixth game of the ALCS, and keeping a running commentary of the seventh.

Two years ago (October 20, 2003), I didn't post anything. I did on the 19th and 21st, though.
