I love the world (xkcd)

(no subject)

HA! I have triumphed over the demon spawn that is our registration database! I am now registered for next semester's classes! SOAR is my biatch!

*cough* Anyway... yeah. I signed up for four classes:

Writing Across the Media Organizational Communication and Behavior
Web Technologies
Elementary Italian I
Discrete Methods

I probably should've checked with my advisor--I was supposed to be able to register for the third semester of Spanish--but I've decided to take a different language. I've always wanted to learn Italian.

Ironically, if I major in Information Technology, I wouldn't have to take calculus. I have already taken calc. Damn it. *sigh*

But I'm really looking forward to the Web Technologies class! Fun fun!

However, Wednesdays are going to be hell. All my courses are Monday/Wednesday/Friday, so I'll be in class from 8:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon on Wednesdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I'll have two hours between Web Technologies and Writing. But, hey, I don't have any classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

(Actually, I wanted to take Writing on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I would be done before noon on Mondays and Fridays, but it was already full. *sigh*)

EDIT: I just dropped the Writing course--I've decided to take it the semester after next. I'm taking a management course (one that's required for the IT major) instead--Organizational Communication and Behavior. That's on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2:00 to 3:20. That way, if I want to go home on weekends, I can get to the train station at a decent time. And so I don't slack off on Tuesdays and Thursdays. *grin*

They're cancelling the 8:00 Italian class. They're only offering Italian 101 at 9 and 10, and I already have classes scheduled for those times. Goddamn it. SOAR won't be updated for a while, either, so I won't be able to tell if a class is open or not.

*grumble* I was done, too...
