I love the world (xkcd)

I was walking home from class a few minutes ago (because I'm a bad girl and skipping today's "library information session" (hey, the professor's on vacation, so why not? She said we could (Whee! Parentheses are fun!).).) and there were two dozen geese waddling across the road in front of the school. I started laughing my head off, because the damn birds weren't even fazed by the cars inching forward, about to roll over them and squash their feathered asses.

Just for the record, I'm not supporting hitting birds with cars. 'Cause that's just bad, folks. Even if geese are the most evil birds ever. Well, second only to guinea fowl.

Oh, and Collapse )

*giggles* That song amuses me immensely.
I love the world (xkcd)

*giggles in delight*

I think I've got a fangirl! *grin* My AJ/Kate fic "Curiosity" has been curiously popular with the FF.net crowd--particularly one reviewer who calls herself "Myself". Flattery will get you everywhere. Well, okay, maybe it'll just get you mentioned in the author's notes. But believe me, I'm not complaining. I just hope she keeps reviewing! I need my daily dose of ego-stroking! ;-)

Unfortunately, I won't get it tomorrow. I'm participating in a chorale festival all day, and won't have time to work on "Curiosity". I do know where it's going, but there'll be no part tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll have two for you on Sunday.

And thanks to cakemage, I believe I may have another idea for "Curiosity"! Caitlin and Clayton. Try saying that three times fast... and figuring out where I'm going with this. *evil grin*
