Uh-oh.

My Nutrition exam only took me twenty minutes to finish. Something is very wrong here.

****

I really hate the people on FanFiction.net sometimes. I got a review today on my Jack/Serena L&O drabble that said:

um.. ok

you do know shes a lesbian right?

To which I replied: "Um, okay. You do know this was written before that was revealed, right?"

Though I could have said a variety of things, like: "It was a request," or "And people don't slash straight characters?" or "Shut up, I'll do what I want."

(Though that last one would be far too typical teenie for my tastes. "dunt lyk? dunt reed!")

The facts of life, madam, obviously.

All straight people are attracted to the same sex, thus slash. All gay people are repulsed by the opposite sex, so all characters are effectively gay, therefore allowing all sorts of sick pairings. While heterosexuality can be denied in the name of writing bad fanfic, to reverse the process and claim a gay character could be attracted to the opposite sex is sacrilege.

My tongue is stuck in my cheek now....

Yeah, even though I post on FF.net, sometimes I get overly annoyed at the stupidity over there. XD

It's good to have a really easy class like Nutrition though - it'll be an A for sure!

Some people on fanfic.net don't realize that - hello - it's fan FICTION. So if you want Serena to be straight, you can write her that way. It's the reason we *have* fan fics, so you can write what *you* would like to see on the show, not what really happens.

I wish I counted the times I've cringed while just reading story summaries or the first page of a fic. The grammar, spelling and overall mistakes scare me!
